About NIMS Health

To lead Australia in remote occupational injury management – where injured workers get the right care quickly, employers reclaim productivity confidently, and insurers manage risk through clarity and control.

Our Story

Workplace injury management in Australia had the same problems for years: workers waiting days or even weeks to see doctors experienced in workplace injuries, hours spent travelling to appointments, employers left in the dark, and everyone frustrated by poor communication.

We started NIMS Health to fix that.

Today, we deliver expert workplace injury care through video consultations, connecting workers with our team of experienced doctors, psychologists, and work closely with partnered allied health organisations — including physiotherapy services — to support coordinated workplace injury care across Australia.

We actively support over 200 employers across Australia, giving their teams fast access to coordinated care whenever an injury occurs.

Our Vision

To lead Australia in workplace injury management.

Delivering evidence-based care that helps workers recover faster, supports safe return to work, and helps employers restore productivity without compromising on worker wellbeing.

Our Mission

Streamline recovery from first injury to safe return to work.

Our clinicians experienced in workplace injuries, secure digital platform and structured processes ensure care that’s timely, coordinated and focused on real outcomes. Everyone involved stays connected throughout recovery: workers, employers, insurers and rehabilitation providers all working from the same information.

What Makes Us Different

We’re not adapting consumer telehealth for workplace injuries. We built this specifically for it.

Clinically led, always

Every consultation, certificate and follow-up is driven by clinical expertise, not algorithms or automation. Our doctors, psychologists make the decisions.

Built for workplace injuries

We understand the nuances of occupational injury care, meaningful workplace participation, and what it really takes to support a safe and sustainable return to work.

Genuinely collaborative

All stakeholders involved in patient care: employers, insurers and rehabilitation providers — have access to the same platform. Real-time updates, transparent communication, no one left guessing.

Data-driven outcomes

We track what matters: recovery timeframes, return to work rates, and coordination effectiveness. Our approach is evidence-based and continuously improving.

Easy to reach, easy to talk to

Our team is accessible. Pick up the phone, send a message through the platform, or jump on a video call. We’re here when you need us.

Our Approach

Work is good for health

We believe meaningful work contributes significantly to overall health and wellbeing. Our goal is always safe, sustainable return to work, not just medical clearance.

Early intervention matters

The sooner treatment starts, the better the outcome. Same-day access to experienced clinicians means recovery can begin without unnecessary delays.

Everyone stays connected

Injury management breaks down when people work in silos. Our platform keeps all stakeholders involved in care aligned throughout the entire recovery journey.

Function over just diagnosis

We focus on what workers can do, not just what they can’t. Suitable duties planning and functional assessments support recovery at work, reducing lost time and lost wages.

Evidence-based, always

Our care follows the Clinical Framework for the Delivery of Health Services, applying a biopsychosocial, function-focused approach backed by research and best practice.

Our Credentials
